This is the pattern I use to teach sock-knitting to first-time sock-knitters, and they always get great results.

I’ve been using Liat’s pattern for worsted weight socks for Christmas gifts. I can make a pair in a week, and it’s a great way to use some of my stash odds-and-ends. They’re super warm and comfy, and even the guys like them.” – Mary (ccoastknitter on Ravelry)

Absolutely brilliant sock pattern. I had struggled and given up with socks until I found this. I’ve only been knitting a year and a half and I knitted a pair of these in 2 days. The heel construction is fantastic. I’m totally in love with this pattern, thank you so so much :)” – PoppyPipkin on Ravelry
