There is absolutely no reason not to put cables on your scarf, because once you know this trick, the cables will show up on both sides and you won’t have an ugly “wrong-side” to hide. Use 1×1 or 2×2 rib to create a reversible cabled scarf.

Reversible cables make a cabled scarf so much more beautiful.
