New Customer Accounts, Classes, Videos Page, and Site Search are Ready!

Liat Gat - Founder

April 3, 2019

Since my customers have been asking for a way to log into their accounts and see their classes easily since at least 2012, I've spent the past year making that possible. Now all customers can sign in to their accounts with one password and see their classes.

Liat Gat on the streets of Sayulita, Mexico in 2017“Liat, where the heck have you been? I gave up on you!”

Answer: I’ve been here! Since last year when I published my “I’m back!” post, I’ve been here, working on KnitFreedom.

Since my customers have been asking for a way to log into their accounts and see their classes easily since at least 2012, I decided to focus my efforts on that.

It’s now ready!

Some testimonials from Premium Lifetime customers:

“Apart from the volume of information and crystal-clear instruction, the greatest benefit I have received is the sense of calm that is evolving from it.” –Leah W.H.

“I have purchased a large number of Craftsy classes, and I don’t think I would have if I had known about your site first. I am definitely recommending it to everyone I know and in my online groups.” –Candace T.

I’m thinking of becoming a Premium member, but I did not receive an answer to my blog question re Addi Flexilips socks. Is there any chance that you will be discussing this approach to sock knitting, i.e. using Flexiflip needles and if you have a preference over Magic Loop? Thank you. Lucille Kalinske

    1. Hi Lucille,

Thanks so much for your comment here. I searched but didn’t find the comment you mentioned about Flexiflips. I’m so sorry! Maybe it didn’t get posted after you wrote it. I do try to answer every comment so I’m glad you wrote me here again.

As far as Addi Flexiflips go, I’m happy to discuss this approach here. I adore using Magic Loop and stand by it as an excellent way to knit anything in the round. The reasons I prefer Magic Loop over DPNs, flexible or not, is that you can use the same needles for many things. You can use a 47-inch circular needle to knit two socks at one time, or a whole sweater, or one mitten thumb. It doesn’t matter.

Magic Loop is such a flexible approach to knitting in the round that I prefer it to any other method. You save a lot of money by not having to buy different needles for different projects. The needles are harder to lose, because there’s only one. AND you can knit two-at-a-time, which is my favorite way to make a pair of anything. They don’t call it “second sock syndrome” for nothing. Having to knit the second sock is always less fun. With Magic Loop, you can do them both at the same time, and they come out exactly the same. And if you are going to knit something large in diameter, like a sweater or blanket, the long circular needle can be used for that too.

The Magic Loop video course is full of information on why Magic Loop is great, and includes many videos to help you perfect the technique. If you try it, you will be knitting so quickly, you’ll love it.

      I hope this helps!
      Cheers,
      Liat

  2. So how does one that bought the full package way back when log on now?

Sorry that I am just now responding, been having a few personal things going on.

  5. Great changes on your site Liat. I learned so much from you that I was beginning to miss getting news from you..
As a knitting man, even if my wife has been knitting all her life, I had a different view about how I wanted to knit. I tried to learn from her, just for fun at first, but
When I got serious about it, realized that I prefer to knit in the Continental style and learned it mostly from you. And it’s the same for socks, hats, etc…
At first, I was knitting at home in secret, but now I am not afraid to go to knitting activities with my wife and get asked a lot of questions about my knitting style… ;-)
    Thanks for your work,

    Gilles
